This static PLBRA website is designed to provide resident information about the Park La Brea Residents Association — meeting schedules, events, resources, newsletters, and membership. PLBRA does not sell resident information. We do not profile visitors, run retargeting ads, or share resident data with third-party marketers.

The only personal information we collect is what you actively submit through the following forms. Each is described plainly below.

• Newsletter sign-up: email address only. Used to send the PLBRA newsletter. Managed through the newsletter platform. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.
• Membership form: name, email address, optional phone number, household status, and $20/$30 annual dues payment processed via Square. PLBRA's volunteer board sees name and email for membership records. Card payment is handled entirely by Square — PLBRA never sees your card number.
• Contact form messages: name, email address, and the message body you write. Used only to respond to your inquiry.

This site does not currently run third-party analytics or tracking cookies. No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar scripts are loaded on any page. If that changes, this page will be updated with a clear dated notice before any tracking is added.

When you click to an external service,
their policy applies.

Some actions — including membership payment, newsletter signup, document access, and third-party archives — open external platforms that operate independently of PLBRA. We have listed each one below with a plain description of what it handles.

• Square — membership payment Handles card data using tokenized payment processing. PLBRA never receives or stores your card number. Square is PCI-compliant.

• Google Drive — newsletter PDF archives and board documents Documents are shared via public read-only links. No sign-in is required to view them. Google may log access as part of their standard service.

• PLBRA email — [email protected] Staffed by volunteer board members. Email you send to this address is read by PLBRA volunteers and used only to respond to your question or request. We do not use resident emails for marketing.

When you click a link to an external service, that service's own privacy policy governs what they collect and how they use it. We recommend reviewing their policies before submitting personal information.

You can ask us to remove
your information at any time.

We retain newsletter subscriber emails until you unsubscribe. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link that removes you immediately. Membership records are retained for the term of your membership plus one year for renewal outreach. Contact form messages are retained for 12 months and then deleted.

We do not share these records with any third party outside of the platforms described in Section 02. Board members with access to member records are volunteers bound by PLBRA's resident-first mission. If PLBRA changes its data practices in a material way, this page will be updated with a dated notice.
