The PLBRA newsletter exists because residents deserve to know what is being done in their name, and in their building. In the April 2022 issue, the board reported on progress in the ongoing water utility overcharge dispute — a multi-year effort that ultimately secured credits for thousands of residents. The president's letter that month opened plainly: "We've made real progress. But the work isn't finished yet."

That same issue carried community notes on the reopening of shared amenities post-COVID, a reminder about the key fob policy for children's access to common areas — a right PLBRA had fought to protect — and a calendar of upcoming town hall meetings. It closed with a call for new board volunteers, which read: "The people who show up are the ones who make a difference. Your neighbors need you."

Every issue is written by residents, for residents. No management approval required.
